
Stefan Sagmeister. I feel that his work is an excellent example of how modernism can still drive the form and ethic of an artist, through the artist's reliance on historical art practices to establish new discourse, while still being aligned post-modern ideals of subjectivity and placing relevance on a single human voice that can reflect common human experiences.

This video is a discussion and criticism of subjectivity and how it has be expanded with the pervasive use of new media technologies. I can totally identify with this work as I am a major proponent of the non-existence of truth or objectivity. The internet especially aids knowledge in establishing a more democratic structure, we're all a part of it, we can all generate relevant knowledge.
